I have recently bought a GPS receiver for my Nikon D7100, which records latitude, longitude etc, which then appears in the EXIF data of the photograph.
However, when I edit the RAW file in Lightroom (vers 4.4),and save the edited file as a jpeg, the GPS data has been stripped out, and wont locate automatically when uploaded to sites such as Flickr.
Is there a way I can keep the GPS data on the processed image?
thanks...the box is unchecked.
I think I have found a work-around.
If I save the edited/processed RAW file as a .tiff it seems to preserve the embedded GPS data in the EXIF, and so can be auto-located in Flickr
