    help with pausing sprites for a period of time

      Hi

      I'm looking to pause a sprite for say 5 seconds once it reaches a certain boundary. I was thinking something like this

      if the locH of pSprite > pRightBound then
      sprite(pSprite).hold()

      but don't know how to implement the timer element but do have a timer in place in the director movie. Any help would be much appreciated.
