    preview clip with time stretch

    andywelly

I wish to preview a clip so far to check lip sync and have used time stretch to speed up sections which don't need to be lip synced or are a 'get to section' . Dragging the cursor to the start to play/preview, the clip does not play properly as lip synced on sections completed so far, everything is out of sync. If video is published to file saved on computer the clip section plays back ok. This is a pain as takes around 10 minutes to process.

The question is how do you check/preview clip so far without having to publish file, saved on computer.

      Thanks

What version of Premiere Elements do you have and on what computer operating system is it running.

Generalizing for now, fine tuning later with more information from you....

When you are previewing the Time Stretch edited Timeline content, are you playing back the rendered or unrendered Timeline content in

          the Edit area monitor?

If you have a version of Premiere Elements earlier than 11...if so, then is there a red line over the Timeline content before you start the play back in the monitor?

If you have version 11 or 12, ..if so, .then is there an orange line over the Timeline content before you start the play back in the monitor?

          Just in case inclusion

Adobe Premiere Elements 11 * Previewing movies

Please review and consider and then let us know the outcome.

          Thank you.
