1. Re: Video output on iPad
mark20044 Sep 4, 2014 3:16 PM (in response to Pidd)I don't recall where I saw it, but I believe the problem is that Safari (or possibly iOS) won't allow two media files to play at the same time (or something along those lines.) Your best option is probably to incorporate the smaller videos/images/text in to the master video using Premiere or another video editor. Off the top of my head I don't know any free ones that would do it, but everyone has a CC subscription these days, right?

Pidd Sep 5, 2014 12:43 AM (in response to mark20044)I did a little research and you're right. There seems to be a workaround if you're programming your own app, but usually, iOS apps won't play more than one video at the same time.

mark20044 Sep 5, 2014 8:23 AM (in response to Pidd)It occurs to me that you probably won't even need video editing software to combine the videos, you can just use Captivate to publish to video all the elements you want to combine, then use that video instead. Just make sure you've got your MP4Settings.ini in place so you get 30fps output instead of the default 15fps.

Pidd Sep 16, 2014 9:57 AM (in response to mark20044)Mark, that worked fine - thank you! Using MP4Settings.ini enhanced video quality quite a bit (I changed 30 to 25 as I'm in Europe and that's the frame rate I use when shooting video).
