What application were you given?
And you do realize that this is a USER forum, not Adobe support, right?
I was given Photoshop Elements, and I went to the support section and the forums were recommended to me.
If your school gave you the software, you must talk to them about exchanging it for CS6.
If you went to Adobe or any Educational software store, you have to arrange for an exchange for what you want.
We deal with mostly technical problems, not customer sales.
That's exactly what I did, but they told me to contact Adobe about it. I'm not sure what to do here.
If you school purchased and gave the you wrong product, they have to make good. They have the documentation. They can't have you wander to Adobe without anything but your say so. If one person in your school is brushing you off, talk to someone else there.
Perhaps the instructor for your class can straighten it out if CS6 is a requirement.
Okay, I'll give that a shot. thanks alot, guys. =)
Some Admin ( the school ) have no clue about software, they might have seen the price and thought let's go with that version of Photoshop....Elements is ok for only the most basic projects.
As suggested, take it up with the school and inform them about the difference.
