Collaborating with Lightroom in creative cloud

    siwesa

      Hi,

I am trying to share and collaborate my lighroom catalog with another user. I understand that only one person can use it at the same time, and I was told that when being used, the person should drag the catalog onto the desktop, and after using and saving, replace that in the cloud. It worked fine the first time, but after that, when I tried to open the catalog that the other user made changes, the catalog is unlinked to the file. The images that were stored also in the same folder in the cloud is now stored under the other user's name, so the location is different. Is there anyway to work round this?

      Thank you. Appreciate any advise.

LR is made to use things locally on the computer, not in the cloud, at least not in the Adobe cloud.  You might be able to use the cloud to temporary store either the catalog or photos, but I’d copy them to the local computer environment for actual processing.  The cloud also has glitches from time-to-time, and I’d hate that the cloud was the only place things existed, in case they went poof at some point and also synced the deletions locally.
