You could copy and paste the pin locations to the nulls' position to be perfectly accurate without any guesswork at all.
Good idea thanks. Do you know how to parent a layer to a pre comp that has duik bones? When I move the bones I want the child layer to move with the deformation but can't figure out how to do this. At the moment it just stays put while the parent bends etc.
Ok so I thought this was a good idea but when I tried paste the position of the puppets to the nulls they are in a different position??
Are you saying the top left of the nulls aren't aligning with the puppet
If they're not aligning, are your nulls parented to the layer with the
puppet pins applied? They'll need to be for this to work if the layer has
been moved or scaled at all.
