Version of ID? OS? Are you viewing in Acrobat, Adobe Reader, or something else?
What is the error message.
I'm using CS4 and then viewing the exported file in Acrobat pro - but wont work in adobe reader either.
Error message: an error exists on this page. Acrobat may not display the page correctly. please contact the person who created the PDF document to correct the problem.
Could be a bug, in which case you are out of luck, or it could be a glitch with running CS4 on a newer OS than was intended, in which case you are still out of luck.
Oh dear... not the response I was hoping for. But to be expected I guess. I'm trying to convince the workplace I need CS6, but when you're talking to people who don't understand what you're doing and not a clue about software it's like talking a different language.
You know what is interesting - when I draw a simple line and apply the dotted line style it works. On a curved line with a loop in it that I have made some slight adjustments to with the free transform tool is where it goes pear shaped and won't work.
Thank you for your assistance. I have investigated other ways to achieve my end result. just took me longer.
