Declare the variable at document level. Then you can use the variable in several fields.
How are you declaring them? Be sure not to use the const keyword and use var instead.

You should never get it with var, only const.

What OS and version of Acrobat are you using? The debugger is buggy with certain combinations.
Ah...thanks for that George. I see the problem.
It's imperative to close Acrobat entirely to clear things up....not just the working document.
All is well now.
BTW: V 11.0.7 Pro under Win 7
I think it gets disabled every time there is an error thrown.
I have to click the Right Arrow at the top to get it back to normal.
