Text disappears when 3d camera tracker is applied

Hi, my name is Tyler - I have been using adobe for quite a while and have used After Effects heavily before, but over the past few months I have forgotten quite a lot since I have only been using Premiere Pro.

My problem is that whenever I am using the 3D camera Tracker tool (after the shot has been analysed and solved) I select a group of track points creating a target and choose 'create text and camera' but nothing shows up on the active monitor - there is a text layer though. Whenever I begin to move the position of the text the 3D tracking on that text layer becomes inactive, I play it back through and it doesn't follow any tracking points. So from this I decided to fiddle about with the x, y, z axis points and found that the text was massively off screen, I was not able to manage to move the text onto the screen without disabling the tracking on that layer. Here are some screenshots:Screen Shot 2014-09-11 at 21.41.03.pngScreen Shot 2014-09-11 at 21.41.12.pngScreen Shot 2014-09-11 at 21.41.17.pngScreen Shot 2014-09-11 at 21.41.26.pngScreen Shot 2014-09-11 at 21.41.57.png

I am running a macbook pro 15" retina 2.6 GHz intel i7 16GB ram 1tb sad and osx 10.9.4. Thanks very much!
