Regrets…I've had a few…but then again…too few to mention… (sorry, I can't help myself sometimes ).
Anyway, you could start with this: Troubleshooting 101: Replace, or "trash" your InDesign preferences [2009 Outdated & Locked] and see if it helps.
I think she means what you or I would call "undos."
There are known issues with the new version of ID on some Mac systems where user lose the ability to save and/or undo. Adobe is very aware of the problem and trying to find a solution. In the meantime, the recommended workaround is to export to .idml when this happens to avoid complete loss of your work. The .idml can be opened and saved as a new .indd.
Ok, thanks! Yes, I guess I mean "undos"
I'm not having any problems at all with saving my work, it's just this problem with the "undos". So you think it will help if I export my document to .idml? Or maybe I can just hope that Adobe will solve this within a short period of time.. Do you know what time period we are talking about? If they are aware of the problem it shouldn't take long...right?
Nobody knows how long it will take. You should probably search the forum for other threads involving "undos"
Ok, thanks. Think I will go back to using CS6 for now. This new CC is crap. It's slow and has too many problems.
It seems to me that you have serious hardware problems. At least the performance of your computer is not ok.
Which OS do you have? How much RAM? What processor?
