Can you download using a different web browser?
I have google chrome??
Did you download Premiere Elements 12 Mac from Adobe or from some place else? Is the download a tryout or purchased?
Have you tried the uninstall/reinstall?
Please read through the suggestions for "Invalid Checksum" offered in a Photoshop Elements issue.
None of them worked for that users, but one of them, especially the one from Adobe Staff, might work for you.
If you need to get an alternative source of download files, please see the following web site
It is critical that you read and carry out the web site's "Note: Very Important Instructions" and "here" in order to avoid an Access Denied message.
Are you saying that you have tried to install other video editors on your Mac and have run into the same error? Or are you just reading about other
reports of "Invalid Checksum".
I got the download from Amazon
and I have read other reports on Invalid Checksum.
Thanks for the reply.
Have you tried the uninstall of the Amazon download/purchase and install of the program from the web site whose link I posted in post numbered 3 of your thread?
You can download and install that tryout and then insert your purchased serial number in it to make it your working copy if it works for you.
Please let us know the outcome.
Thanks for the suggestions!
I just uninstalled the program, restarted my computer, and downloaded it again and everything went well!
So glad for your great news. Great job of follow through.
Your follow up will be appreciated by all.
