    using setInterval() to overrun framerate

    Level 7
      I tried to make a animation movieclip independent of the framerate using the
      following code into each frame of that animation movieclip:
      ==========================
      if(interval_between_frames)
      clearInterval(interval_between_frames)
      interval_between_frames=setInterval(this.nextFrame,1000);
      stop();
      ==========================
      Whth the parent mc framerate 12 fps I expected the animation execute at 1
      fps.
      Instead I got it frosen on the first frame.

      Where my thinking is wrong?
