Mark Mapes Sep 15, 2014 10:29 PM (in response to John Ellenberger)How are you creating your multicam source sequences? If you're doing it via the Project panel's Create Multi-camera Source Sequence command, then what you want to do is set Audio>Sequence Settings to "Switch Audio."

John Ellenberger Sep 16, 2014 3:52 AM (in response to Mark Mapes)I can check that but I am only using the main camera audio when I create the sequence so not sure what this will do(?)

Mark Mapes Sep 16, 2014 12:30 PM (in response to John Ellenberger)Ah, I made a wrong assumption about what you were trying to accomplish.
Since you're using A1 audio throughout, it's by design that all video clips after the first one are unlinked from the audio. That's at least in part because the audio track can be linked to only one video clip.
So here are the first two options that come to mind
- hold Shift while clicking with the Cut tool.
- Move the playhead where you want the cut and press Shift+K (Win) or Cmd+K (Mac)
In both cases clips on all unlocked tracks will be cut.
Depending on exactly what you're doing, you might also find that working with In/Out points and the Lift & Extract commands offer an efficient workflow.

John Ellenberger Sep 19, 2014 4:52 AM (in response to Mark Mapes)Thanks I'll try that next session. This is a fairly simple show: two cameras and I just keep them running after the clapboard to make things easy. Editing is mostly chopping out the bad bits so I pretty much doing everything in the sequence window.
