    Start of locator failed

      On Windows when I try to start the TCP locators (gemfilre)  after 2 - 3 minutes I get: ERROR: Operation "start-locator" failed because: Start of locator failed. The end of "D:\Adobe\Adobe LiveCycle ES4\lib\caching\start_locator.log" contained this message: "".  The start_locator.log exists but is empty.  I run startlocator from a command window as administrator.  This is a new installation of ES4 SP1 running in JBoss.

          Moved the caching folder to a different location and now the locator starts.

            Actually, you dont have to move the cache folder.  the prob with the default install is that it adds 2 space in the folder name.  You can fix the folder name or fix the start_locator.bat file.

             

            "C:\Adobe\Adobe LiveCycle ES3" doesn't work.

            "C:\Only 2 Spaces\caching\" doesn’t work.

            "C:\Only 1Space\caching\" works.

            "C:\Adobe\Adobe-LiveCycle ES3" works.

            "C:\Adobe\Adobe LiveCycle" works.

            "C:\Adobe\Adobe-LiveCycle-ES3" works.
