getting a pop up message "migration has stopped"

I am trying to install ADE 4.0 on my computer however I get the message ``migration has stopped``.  Don`t know what I`m doing wrong.

Can you please specify the exact error that you are getting? A screenshot of the error dialog might help.

I again re-installed ADE in both my laptop and my desktop and there is a new message on both - "ADE 4.0 has encountered a problem and needs to close." It installs OK but when I try and open it, that is the message I receive.

ADE 4.0 requires .Net framework 4 installed on your PC. Please update it.
