I have a table created and formatted the lines that cross the rows and columns and deleted the ones around the table itself.
Now I would like the lines that fornat the rows and colums to not go all the way to the edge of the table itself, giving a gap at the edges or even where the lines cross over.
is there a way to do this?
Add empty rows or columns around the edges. I think for the most flexibility with gaps it's probably easier to abandon cell strokes altogether and add empty rows and columns between all the existing cells, then selectively fill them with the color you want for your strokes.
