I installed the trial of InDesign a couple of weeks ago. It's been working fine until today when I received the pop-up message "Adobe InDesign is not properly licensed and will now quit" upon startup. Based on research, I have tried the following:
-Uninstall/reinstall several times and in varying ways
-Change clock settings to Pacific time zone
How might I fully utilize my trial version with this issue?
Did you reset the system clock? That will (or at least it used to) terminate any trial period and you will be forced to wipe the drive and reinstall the OS if you want to run the same trial again. This is to prevent users from resetting the clock to extend a trial period and avoid paying for the program.
Unfortunately reinstalling the OS is not an option. Thanks, though. Any other suggestions?
I'm afraid that is probably that; it's unlikely you can get the trial working again. From Adobe's point of view the trial will have served its (only) purpose: to let you evaluate the product and see whether you would buy it.
