Sept 13 hot fix doesn't work for me

After September 13th we have edited and rebuilt our v31 app. App version ending is 999365. We submitted and approved it at Apple before iOS 8 release. When iOS 8 was released, we started to receive complaints about the app. Users have lost previously downloaded folios and, what is more important, was unable to download it again due to an error. I have checked this, updated the app and then updated iOS, and can confirm it. Workaround here is only one - delete the app and install it again. The audience of our application is about 150000. Are we need to push them a message about reinstall the app and loosing all downloaded folios, or there is an another solution?

Losing all the downloaded folios is expected--that's one of the underlying stories of iOS 8. But your users shouldn't have to uninstall/reinstall the app that you built after Sept. 13. The DPS team is investigating this issue. One of us will get back to you when we learn more.

That's very strange, I've checked a number of DPS apps that are based on this v31 change and have not experienced this problem. I upgraded over-the-air on my iPhone and via iTunes on my iPad. Previously downloaded folios were available for viewing and I could download other folios.

What app is this in reference to?

The app is currently v31.3. The v32 version of the app has not yet been approved, so this is known behavior. When the app is approved, users should be able to download content without uninstalling/reinstalling.

To be clear, if you rebuilt the app after Sept. 13 as v31 or v32 you will have the fix. Rebuilding requires a full edit of the app in App Builder (select the app, click "Edit" and go through the configuration process).

Yes, we have done that. Edited app in App Builder at 15th of September, built v31 and submitted it to the App Store. App was approved and available now.

This is truly bizarre. The app I see in iTunes is still the older version (31.3.0.213.98649).

How long ago was your app approved and put in the store, Andrey? Even after Apple says the app is available it can take quite a while for it to really be available to download. Also, are you positive you submitted the new v32 version?

Thank you, now i see where is the problem. Apple has approved an old build, that we uploaded beginning September. In the same time, i see in iTunes Connect, that my new build is validated and available. Very strange situation, i've sent expedited review request again.
