    Using a CHM for a web-based application

I'm using RH X5 and have used both CHM and WebHelp output for a while, always assuming that a web application needs to have the WebHelp format. Now, I'm questioning, Do you really have to use WebHelp for a web-based application? Can you use a CHM output for a web-based application? The RH help doesn't come out and say so directly.

I do understand the issue about F1 in a web-application--it launches Microsoft Internet Explorer Help, not your help system. We get around that with some type of Help link to launch context-sensitive help topics.

      Thanks in advance,
      Kevin
