1. Re: Two windows in .hlp output
RoboColum(n) Apr 12, 2007 5:04 AM (in response to newrhuser)Hi newrhuser and welcome to the RH community. I don't know about winhelp files but with other output formats (e.g. webhelp) this has to do with your browser's activex settings blocking content. Out of interest, what OS are you using? -

Newsgroup_User Apr 12, 2007 7:23 AM (in response to newrhuser)Instead of a WinHelp layout, generate a WinHelp 2000 layout. The downside of
this is that in addition to the .hlp and .cnt files, you'll also need to
distribute a .dll file (don't remember the filename right now but it's in
the help file for RH).

newrhuser Apr 13, 2007 1:43 AM (in response to newrhuser)Thanks very much for the replys.
Colum, not sure if activex is a factor as the same help created with an older version of Robohelp just outputs in one window. The operating systems is Windows XP and the Word version is 2000.
Mike, I will look into the WinHelp 2000 layout perhaps, although not sure what the software developers will do the this .dll file. -

RoboColum(n) Apr 13, 2007 2:40 AM (in response to newrhuser)Does the same behaviour occur if the help file is run on a different PC? You could also try compiling one of the dummy projects and see if the same behaviour occurs there as well.
