    onRollOver

    Tolk
      when using the onRollOver event for a movieClip is there anyway to stop it blocking all the contents on the movieClip being selected etc.
      I.e. I have a input textfield inside a movieClip, the movieClip has an onRollOver event assigned to it. When i test the movie and roll over the movie clip i can no longer select the input textfield to edit it's value.

      Is there a workaround for this or another method for detecting when the mouse is over the movieClip?

      Thanks!

          This was alittle ruched, sorry:

          var mouseListener:Object = new Object ();
          mouseListener.onMouseMove = function () {
          if (MyMovie.hitTest (_root._xmouse, _root._ymouse, false)) {
          MyMovie.inner.text = "Over"
          }else{
          MyMovie.inner.text = "NOT Over"
          }
          };
          Mouse.addListener (mouseListener);

          I hope it helps anyway
