Please check your firewall settings, and try again in a few minutes" I have tried all the suggested methods such as everything involving the oobe folder, re-installing, disabling antivirus and firewalls. Try out some of the ideas here. I don't know if you are at home or school but does your router have a firewall?
Unfortunately none of those options worked, hoping to eventually find a solution as I am stuck in a year long contract with a service I am unable to access
One last idea is to use a public wifi hotspot or even use your smartphone as a portable wifi hotspot, and try activating through that connection.
