what are trying to add to LR; photos from a card/camera or from an hard drive?
Have these files/photos been on LR before? Sounds like LR is saying the files are already in the catalog. Do you have 'don't import suspect duplicates' ticked or unticked?
good chance I don't have the answer however others who can help may be asking such questions
Maybe I used the wrong abbreviation but I just meant that Creative cloud (PS and LR) are paid for, I am not using an expired trial or anything.
Yes, it says there appears to be duplicate files but the files are not duplicates... nothing will upload, I get that message on every photo I try to import.

will not be the fix you want, but make a new test catalog and see if you can import into there.
Why are you importing them on the new computer, are these "new" photos just taken with your camera or are they photos that were imported into the catalog on the old computer?
