Auditon 3.0 not showing active file names in upper left

I am running Audition 3.0 on a BRAND NEW HP Envy running Windows 8.1 For the last month AA 3.0 has been working

fantastic until just this morning when I opened a file and it appeared on my timeline just fine.

BUT, the name of the file did not appear on the upper left hand portion of the screen - nothing, nada, blank.

Below is the screen shot showing my audio file, but NOTHING in the left hand dock...

This is causing a TREMENDOUS slowdown, need to get this fixed...any solutions???

Looks like the viewing of audio files in the panel was accidentally toggled off. Click the waveform button at the lower-left corner of the panel to turn it back on (directly underneath 'Sort by')

But would that also stop the file name showing at the top left of the Windows window after the Au icon?

Kevin's screenshot shows the application name and active file in the center of the top bar. I believe this is a standard Windows 8.1 change, no longer justifying the application title to the left corner.

Thanks all, especially to durin....I simply clicked ONCE on the waveform button, and presto,
I'm back in business. (The first time I DOUBLE-CLICKED which of course did not work.)

Again, thanks a LOT, now I can get back to producing features for the local public radio station.
