A line path depending on how it is can be animated with the clip tool situated in the left panel.
Now if your path goes back and forth the clip tool is not appropriate. In this case I would use canvas.
Do you have an image of the path you are talking about.
Next, if you are thinking about animating an element along a path, then you can use the path tool. Select your element. Click on 'Motion Paths. Set the first frame, move the playhead to the amount of time you need. Selet the last frame. Then select the path and add points where you want them.

another question, maybe you know the problem..i created my animation( it looks cool :-) ) and it works fine on my imac safari, but not on my macbook safari :-/
i updated everything...but still nothing. The problem is at the end of the day i need to show it on my macbook.
Hope you know the answer. :-)
Of course I meant Stuttgart! Sorry - I did not check for typos. I loved it! So beautiful!
About your macbook. Could it be that your browser is not up to date? Have you tried other browsers? Otherwise I am not sure.
also make sure you have the latest version of animate. An update was out a couple or three weeks ago.
