I'm having trouble figuring out how to move a subject out of it's background in Photoshop, then importing it into InDesign so that I can wrap the text around it.

So far this is where I'm at.

I've used the selector to select my subject and tried cutting and pasting this image from PS to InDesign, this didn't work, I have a picture that has been selected but it's back in a box.  I tried saving the file to psd then uploading it, same thing.  I'm sure I'm doing something wrong, thanks for helping!
