Using CS6 in Windows 7. I am trying to make it so that guides are in front. What I have always done was: Prefernces > Guides and Pasteboard > uncheck "Guides in back" > OK. However, recently the "OK" button is grayed out and cannot be clicked, making any preferences changes pointless. Re-starting computer and re-launching program did not solve it, and this is not an issue for co-workers using the same, networked system. Did I accidentally hit some command that grays out that "OK" button? If I did indeed break it, is there another way to accomplish the same goal (such as a drop-down menu or palette, etc.)
Thanks. Is this something I can safely do on my own? (Only somewhat tech-savvy.) Or should I track down my company's IT rep and ask him to do it?
Read the instructions. They are straightforward. But if you feel you cannot do it, then have your IT do it for you.
