RameezKhan Sep 23, 2014 12:42 PM (in response to dkmiles)Hi dkmiles,
Thank you for posting on Adobe forums.
What is the OS version? Is there any particular error message you are getting? Do you get past the splash screen?
Thanks!

dkmiles Sep 23, 2014 12:53 PM (in response to RameezKhan)Hi Rameez:
I'm on OS 10.9.4 on this Mac.
I don't get any error message. It just hangs on the splash screen and goes no further.
Thanks for any help!

5. Re: Premier Pro 2014 will not launch
RameezKhan Sep 23, 2014 1:55 PM (in response to dkmiles)Please follow the steps below:
When in Finder, click on 'Go' at the top, then click on 'Go to Folder'
Type ~/Library/Application Support and rename the 'Adobe' folder to 'OldAdobe'
Again in 'Go' and 'Go to Folder' type ~/Library/Preferences and rename the 'Adobe' folder to 'OldAdobe'
Now go to documents and rename the 'Adobe' Folder to 'OldAdobe'
Launch Premiere. It will again ask you to accept terms and conditions. Also, doing this will reset your Workspace and Preferences.
Let me know if this fixes the issue.
Thanks!

RameezKhan Sep 24, 2014 6:43 AM (in response to dkmiles)Hi dkmiles,
You can try to move the plugins out from the Media Core folder and then check if it works. But you will have to reinstall them afterwards.
Thanks,
Rameez

11. Re: Premier Pro 2014 will not launch
RameezKhan Sep 24, 2014 8:12 AM (in response to dkmiles)/Library/Application Support/Adobe/Common/Plugins/*.0/MediaCore
* refers to the version of the App
6.0 for Premiere Pro CS6
7.0 for Premiere Pro CC
8.0 for Premiere Pro CC 2014
Move all the plugins to some folder on the Desktop. Then launch Premiere and see if it launches.
Thanks,
Rameez

12. Re: Premier Pro 2014 will not launch
dkmiles Sep 24, 2014 9:15 AM (in response to RameezKhan)It's working! Yay!
Strangely, there is no 8.0 folder in the Plug-ins folder. So I pulled the plugins out of the 7.0>MediaCore folder and then was able to launch PP 2014. After getting it running. I quit PP and dragged the plug-ins back into the 7.0>MediaCore folder and was able to launch PP 2014. And this time it launched with all the plug-ins.
I was also able now to launch After Effects CC 2014 with all its plug-ins working.
Is it possible there's a different file structure for PP 2014 Plug-ins?
Anyway it's working. Thanks for your help.

Thanks,
Rameez
