No Joyent Node app in my Photoshop CC are you sure its not something you added?
No, JJ, didn't add it. It's in several CC folders (node generator, node,
node_modules (C:\Program Files\Adobe\Adobe Photoshop CC
and elsewhere under Adobe PhotoshopCC program files.
Not listed as Joyent in Adobe, but Node is their application.
I do not do Adobe Photoshop web stuff have not enabled generator or added any of the Adobe extra Web add-ons for Photoshop. Perhaps Joyent Node is part on one of the Add-ons its not in Photoshop CC itself. I did search using "joy" as a search argument nothing found. Ther are two Node_Module folders in generate.
JJ, I have Kuler Panel and Adobe Paper Textures Pro add-ons. Must be one of
those. Still begs the question of how to update, if anyone has knowledge of
that. Thank you for responding. ♫
JJ, I just checked my Adobe Extension Manager CC and had two versions of
Adobe Paper Textures installed. I deleted the older of the two. Now I'll
run another scan and see if it still flags Node. If so I'll try
uninstalling the remaining, newer version. I never use it anyway because I
work with such large images and have so many textures I'd have to load into
it that I find it not to be practical. ♪ No Edge or Scout stuff -- will
have to google those to see what they are, lol!
Thank you, JJ. Now I know where to find edge and scout! I'm not a very sophisticated Adobe user, I'm afraid.
Here is a link I found on google -- explains the presence of the generator node files:
It appears it's not associated with any add-ons, but something Adobe installed on a recent update.
