Here is an article with direct download links to the installers for CC 2014, and near the end are links to other articles that have links to the updates.
You’ve said you have tried uninstalling and reinstalling, but it’s not clear which version is being installed, so I’d suggest try both the original 2014.0 and the newer 2014.1.0 installers.
When you use these links you need to follow the Very Important Instructions to set the Adobe authorization cookie, otherwise you’ll see a not-authorized error.
I try both. Nothing is working.
When you uninstall, sometimes files are left behind. I hate to ask again, but use the CSCleaner tool after uninstalling.
I have CC 2014 on my mid 2009 White Macbook running 10.9.5
I try CC Cleaner Tool and re-install CC 2014 again.
Still have the same problem.
I would then look at Folder Permissions:
In the Finder menu click and hold on the GO menu. Hold the option button and the User library will show up. Click the User Library.
In that folder go to Preferences and find the Adobe folder.
Right click on Adobe folder and click Get Info.
In the Sharing & Permissions section there should be three names.
All should say Read & Write next to them.
Unlock the lock, switch them all to Read and Write.
Then click on the little gear directly under the names or to to the left of the lock and in the pulldown click on "Apply to enclosed items".
Then lock the lock again.
It works well now.
Thanks you for letting me know.
