Unable to record with Presenter 10. I have PC, Windows 7.1. Can someone help?

I have just downloaded a trial of Presenter 10.  When I attempt to set my microphone level, Adobe cannot identify it.  I have check the settings and the audio quality.  Both are correct.  Any suggestions?
