It is my first time to use After Effects and i don't know anything about it. I have opened it and something has popped up saying 'Ray-tracing on the GPU requires an approved NVIDIA graphics card and CUDA 5.0 or later'. What does this mean??? I'm worried to create anything on After Effects incase it cannot save due to this problem.
Your graphics card can't do ray traced 3D, so (ray traced 3D) it won't be very usable with large 3D scenes. Not a problem really unless thats what you need AE for. You can still use the program. Thats just a warning telling you your graphics card doesn't meet the minimum requirements for certain features "ray traced 3D" although it will still work, the CPU can do it also but the classic renderer is usually fine for 3D in AE
