Hi, (excuse my bas english, i'm french)
I have a problem : i need to find a function like doevents in VB: i want to program a big loop and i need to let the system execute in multitasking.
I did not find in documentation the function so I've tried with timer and it does not work!!!!!!
Does that mean that flex is not multitasking!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!?????????

      Thanks for respond

Flex is event-driven, it is not multi-threaded (if that's what you mean by multi-tasking). Converting from one language to another isn't always straightforward. You'll need to think in terms of events and event handling.

If you think Flex isn't up to the task, take a look at all the stuff people build with Flash technology. Is Flash right for everything? No, but perhaps it is right for your app if you re-think its architecture.
