I am able to see my own messages almost immediately on entry, however, other peoples messages appear to lag (to me). Hadn't noticed the dbl enter.

This web site has a slow-motion reaction to keyboard commands, even has a memory for what you type. Is there a keylogger in the background? An AJAX or Flex experiment? I can tell you, it spoils the fun for me.
