      Why would PSE 13 not allow me to add, delete or edit my email contact list?  Does anyone know what file and extension holds the data of the email contact list?

          So what exactly happens when you open the Contact Book (Edit> Contact Book)?

           

          PS: Contacts are stored in C:\ProgramData\Adobe\Elements Organizer\Organizer\Settings\contacts.xml

            Hi Nealeh,

            If I attempt to either add, delete, or edit contact info, the info is not saved after I select "OK".  In PSE 12 and prior, wasn't there a "SAVE" button, then "OK"?  Can't remember for sure.  Anyway, Adobe "Chat" would not help me with this issue, and referred me to the Forum.  Hope you can help.

              You should need to 'OK' twice. Once to the New Contact, once to close the Contact Book.

              If that is still not working, rename the file I referred to earlier, forcing PSE to recreate it.

                Neale,

                 

                I followed the tree trail you provided, deleted contacts.xml, returned to PSE13, the address book was empty.  I created a new contact, clicked on OK twice, and the program saved the contact.  Problem solved.   It’s amazing to me that after spending an 1 ½ with Adobe in their tech chat room that this was never suggested.  Their solution was for me to go to the forum.  Thank you for being there and responding.
