Can you connect via FTP in some other context, e.g. a different web gallery or FTP'ing plugin..
Hi Rob, thanks for replying.
Yes I've tried different galleries, resetting my password and I've checked my paths, and there all as they should be.
It has worked in the past but all of a sudden when I try to upload a new gallery I get the above message.
I'll reinstall and see if that works.
Yes I've tried different galleries
So, the problem is NOT unique to the specific server you are trying to connect to? In other words, you have tried different servers, with different credentials, and can't connect to any of them? Is that correct?
Can Lr connect to the internet in the map module?
In other words, unless somebody comes along who has the answer, or re-installing helps.., it seems worthwhile to isolate the problem, is it:
* Lightroom/plugins can't connect to the internet?
* FTP is broken?
* FTP to a specific server is broken?
Or did I misunderstand, and you've only tried FTP to one server? - if so, it could be that there was some change at the server end, like it now requires a different port or something..
If you want to try another server, you can get a free account at Flickr, for example, and try to upload via FTP..
Im having similar problem, any luck?
Yes it was my Ftp details that were wrong.
I contacted my Ftp host and they gave me the correct details.
However I'm now presented with a new problem. It loads butcher just before
the end of the upload I get a pop up saying an error occurred sending the
file. Invalid login. I've checked my login and that's correct so I'm still
