1. Re: How do I use the paint bucket tool?
lizard r Oct 5, 2014 11:20 PM (in response to lizard r)seriously, help. I don't know how I'm supposed to choose the area I want filled, but the tool doesn't work on bounded areas in the artwork... just a graphic of an ink spot that disappears, which is the indication that I'm misusing the tool, I suppose. BUT THERE ARE NO HELP FILES!!

robbwacso Oct 6, 2014 10:14 AM (in response to lizard r)the paint bucket fills a closed line drawing...if you use the pencil or pen to draw a circle, selecting the paint bucket and tapping inside the circle fills the circle with chosen color. the paint bucket can also change the color of drawn lines...selecting the bucket and tapping directly on drawn lines will change the color of the lines to the paint bucket color.

3. Re: How do I use the paint bucket tool?
lizard r Oct 6, 2014 10:31 AM (in response to robbwacso)I found out why it was giving me trouble. I wasn't working with new images, and I hadn't played with Ideas enough to realize that it AUTOMATICALLY gives you a 'draw' layer ON TOP of imported work. And the 'photo' layer is not editable. Once I realized that, I was able to fill on the draw layer.
I wish I had been given some rudimentary overview before I tried using the app.... I felt pretty stupid for a while.
THanks for your reply!

4. Re: How do I use the paint bucket tool?
Frank Stokes-Guinan Oct 8, 2014 12:00 PM (in response to lizard r)FYI, you don't need to actually select the paint bucket tool in order to use the paint bucket functionality. Long-pressing on a closed region will also do the same thing. Additionally, long-pressing with the eraser tool will do the opposite and remove the closed region.
Hope that helps,
Frank
