Try reinstalling PS-CC-2014 using the CC desktop app.
Open the CC Desktop App.
Go to the Apps tab.
Click the Filters and Versions blue link on the Find New Apps section title.
Change it to Previous Version.
Click on the Install button next to Photoshop and choose PS CC (2014) and reinstall it.
You’ll then need to update it and Bridge to the latest Camera Raw plug-in.
Thanks for your instructions.... Followed them but still no luck. I did find Adobe Photoshop Camera Raw 8.7 for CC Release Candidate V RC 1 dated 2 Oct 2014 which I downloaded.
Could the issue have something to do with Bridge CC preferences for file type associstions under dNg and nef settings both of which show Adobe Photoshop CC 2014?
JJust found an Adobe video and as usual it was something as simple as going to Adobe Bridge CC Preferences then General then tick the box When a camera is connected launch Adobe photo downloaded.
thanks again for your reply earlier.... Bridge in cs6 obviously had the box ticked but the CC version didn't .
