    Do I unistall PE12 to install the PS13 upgrade.

      Hi, I've never bought an upgrade version before. Do I unistall PE12 and put the  upgrade disc in?

      Or do I leave PE12 installed and put the upgrade over it?

          It is not really an upgrade.  It will install version 13 as a separate and additional application.  You will still be able to use either version 12 or version 13.

          You may want to leave both installed in case you find that version 13 is missing a feature that version 12 had that you want to use.

            No need to uninstall PSE12, just install from the new disc. You should end up with both PSE12 and PSE13 (they can coexist) installed. This is the preferred method because if there are any problems converting your catalog, you will need to fix them in v12. Once you have 13 installed and it's all working correctly you can then uninstall v12 if you want to recover the disk space.
