1. Re: Laggy timeline, playhead line not lined up with playhead after 8.1 update!
Mark Mapes Oct 12, 2014 10:39 PM (in response to NTV)If GPU acceleration is enabled, please try switching to Software Only (File>Project Settings>General>Renderer)
Is Warp Stabilizer applied to the affected clips?
Please report back whether switching to Software-Only resolves this issue. And if so,
please report two things:
- whether GPU acceleration was enabled and working properly prior to updating
- the model of graphics card and the driver version.

3. Re: Laggy timeline, playhead line not lined up with playhead after 8.1 update!
NTV Nov 4, 2014 12:19 PM (in response to GarethCLS)Hi Mark Mapes and GarethCLS. I have worked out what the problem was/is here! It was because my Windows system fonts were set to a custom size of 125%. I changed the font size back to 100% in Windows and hey presto everything working as it should now in this respect, no sticking lines and the playhead and line are aligned correctly. This was not a problem before the update to CC 2014 as I have had my fonts at 125% for years! Now I am squinting on my text as I have to keep it on 100% for PP to display correctly! Mark Mapes please my OP for the details you were asking for previously. Warp Stabiliser was not applied to any of the clips on this timeline nor did changing back and forth between GPU and software acceleration make any difference, it was just the font size that made this happen.

5. Re: Laggy timeline, playhead line not lined up with playhead after 8.1 update!
GarethCLS Nov 5, 2014 5:42 AM (in response to NTV)Thanks, that seems to fix it for me too!
Slightly annoying, as 125% is the default font size on Windows 7 - so I too am stuck with miniature text now. Hopefully the guys at Adobe can sort out a bug fix!

6. Re: Laggy timeline, playhead line not lined up with playhead after 8.1 update!
Arctic Lens Nov 6, 2014 7:46 PM (in response to NTV)OMG THANK YOU !!!!
I have been on with Adobe Tech support for almost two days and have not been able to figure this one out. Swapping cards, changing drivers Etc Etc.
Timeline indicator is offset and shadows on the time ruler.
I will try this on my machine when I get home and update the thread. I have just been living with it as yes it is annoying but still was able to get some work done in it.
Brian Ireland.
