1. Re: i had to uninstall audition cannot get screen to put in serial number
_durin_ Oct 7, 2014 9:19 AM (in response to GtaphZi)The activation servers for Audition 3 and before were retired a few years ago. For users still using Audition 3, a new installer and serial number have been made available that do not require activation. You can find additional information, as well as the download links, by visiting http://helpx.adobe.com/x-productkb/policy-pricing/creative-suite-2-activation-end-life.htm l

3. Re: i had to uninstall audition cannot get screen to put in serial number
_durin_ Oct 7, 2014 11:51 AM (in response to GtaphZi)The replacement installer is for ALL editions of Audition 3. It shared the same activation scheme as the Creative Suite applications, and all earlier versions need to be updated. Your original discs will not be able to activate, so you will need to download the updated installer. Uninstall your existing Audition 3 installation, and follow the steps below:
- Visit Error: Activation Server Unavailable | CS2, Acrobat 7, Audition 3 and click 2. Download and Install CS2 Applications
- In the menu that opens, click on English.
- On the new page that opens, click English once more (or the language you wish to use)
- Scroll down the list of applications until you see Audition 3.0 and click on the Download Link: ADBEAudition_ESD1_WWEFGJIS.exe
The serial number for this edition will be displayed next to the download links.
