Photoshop Elements questions should be posted in the Adobe Photoshop Elements Forum. Somehow your thread got posted in the Adobe Premiere Elements Forum.
Did you purchase Photoshop Elements 12 as a download from Adobe direct, please check out the following for installation files
Download Installers for Older Programs
Please review and then let us know if that worked for you. If not, further details please.
Thank for your prompt reply and for intercepting the request that I had posted to the wrong location.
I have attempted to do a restore, but in "My Account" on the Adobe website, it doesn't show my latest purchase (the one in November 2013). This one DOES show up in "My Order History", but from what I understand, it has to be in "My Products" before I can access it.
In "My Products" two previous versions are shown: one from 2004 and one from 2008, but not the current one.
What would you suggest now???
Any help will be appreciated.
If you have the purchased serial number, you can try to obtain the Photoshop Elements 12 tryout from the following web site and the insert your purchased serial number into them at installation.
You need to read and carry out carefully the "Note: Very Important Instructions" at the web site in order to avoid Access Denied message.
Having the purchased serial number for your product is a key factor. Typically you find it in "My Products" by clicking on your product there to bring up the serial number (after you have signed in at http://www.adobe.com.
Thanks for your help. I have located the serial number and reinstalled PSE 12 , and all seems to be good.
Wonderful news and great job sorting through the details to get your Photoshop Elements 12 reinstalled.
Thank you for letting us know the outcome. Appreciated by all.
I have a similar issue...I purchased stand alone disks of Adobe Premiere Elements and Photoshop elements and installed them on my corporate laptop. They upgraded my laptop a few weeks back and uninstalled the software from the old machine, but told me it was up to me to figure out how to get these two software packages reloaded onto my new laptop. I DO have the License keys, but nothing else...I cannot even begin to figure out where to turn inside Adobe to get assistance reloading this software.
Can anyone point me in the right direction?
