Apple ProRes in Quicktime Export

Hi -

Can you let us know which version of AME and Prelude your client is using?  oes your client see the desired Quick Time Pro Res presets in Premiere Pro or AME directly?

Your client needs to create the appropriate Preset for the format he wants his video converted to in Adobe Media Encoder first.

Then when he checks the Transcode option in Prelude, and selects QuickTime as the format, he can then choose the Preset he created in Adobe Media Encoder.

You can also download a set of pre made presets here- Adobe - Adobe Media Encoder : For Macintosh : AME CC ProRes presets (Mac only).  If this set does not meet the clients needs, then making a custom preset in AME is the correct step (as described by Meg The Dog).
