Building for mobile sites and apple watch

Hi again i know in the past I have asked this. But I was wondering. Desktop and Tablet they are designed the same way right? so in other words theres not much of a need for a tablet version right? bec most tablets can read a desktop site. The only reason I am re asking this is bec i saw the new video about mobile building. thats why i ask.

right now i am buiding for my self. and i have built a few sites for a client. but she has a desktop and pone anyhow.

I on the other hand have all 3 devices. desktop, laptop, iPad and iPhone

now should i build a tablet site or not?

idea question for apple product. I am sure you know about the apple watch. can you change the size of a layout page to make room for a apple watch? or should i take it and build a app in DW instead.?

Hi Bford,

I think that you should make your call on that but i will give you some tips. When your making a website for a client you want the visitors to have the best viewing experience or else they will leave the site and continue to another. It shouldn't be about what devices the client has or doesn't have.

For my company we always make mobile, tablet, and desktop. That way everyone gets the best viewing experience. Your client will be more impressed and happy with the overall out come of the website if you do it that way.

thanks. now would there be a layout for the apple watch when it coms out? like a web site layout. i wonder if designers on both graphic and web will be designing for watch layouts? or would it be best for an app instead?

Not really sure. I don't know much about the apple watch and what its capabilities will entitle. Not sure if it will even have access to the web. I thought it would only be accessible to applications that were downloaded on to the watch but again I am unsure. Best bet would be to ask adobe directly
