crashes when deleting keyframe!

I see the same error issue from your file.

Seems Trnsitions can't be removed. No need to re-install, since I can see the same thing as you describe from your sample file.

Hopefully a Dev member will see this and go through your file.

i confirm this problem which occurs only on the upgraded files. Transitions can be removed on a file created directly in the new version.

I get the same thing deleting keyframes, very frustrating

I would say the new update wont fix this since I have this problem in the new update and I am now in the process of uninstalling the latest version for a previous version.

And I will keep a eye out for Adobe to fix these before installing a update again.

C++ Exception Error

You should keep the new version and the old one together and use the new one to start new projects.

Your telling me the files i created in the pervious version of EA can't and will never work properly in the new version?

Not necessarily. In my experience, so projects update without any problems and some do not. So I decided to keep both version and if I need to update a project, I try the new version and see what happens. The dev team is working out the bugs and there should be an update in the near future but I do not know when.

So nobody thought to test basic compatibility before they pushed out a new release?

Here's how I see ^^ conversation going.

Dude#1: "Should we see if we can edit anything in the timeline from an old file?"

Dude#2: "...Nah, should be fine."

I am sure these issues will be corrected in the next update. The new version works fine with new projects. Seems like problems arise with some upgrades of previous versions but not all of them.

I guess we have to ride the storm until the updates is posted.

I can confirm that errors exist when importing symbols into a new composition. The symbols were exported from the previous version. Not sure if that is something helpful or not, but figured I would pass it along.

I have the same bug (and so many others, I thing it is a shame to edit an upgrade of a software with so many bugs), I have an error then this message : "unknown C++ exeption)

I have to redo my entire project with the previous version. Thank you Adobe

Hey redesign,

I guess people are annoyed because they're trying to use Edge in professional projects and if we're just meant to ride out the storm then that's not really acceptable.

Otherwise it looks like Adobe aren't serious about Edge other than for hobbyists who have the time to ride out the storm.

Is there anyone on here who has an old project that is working perfectly in the new update?

Ok, but I'm struggling all day long with this c++ exception error...took me the entire sunday to fix the work
Hope this will be fixed soon, I can't find any temporary workaround, so I re-did symbols that gave c++ exception error from scratch and praying not getting the error again!!

Until this is fixed, current Edge version is not reliable for production work.

Has this now been fixed / released?  I seem to be up to date but I'm STILL getting the C++ exception error when trying to delete keyframes.  So very annoying and wasting me a lot of time...!
