SeanWilson Oct 8, 2014 12:49 PM (in response to CAG7998)Please provide a URL to content that causes your browser to crash - I suspect your issue is with Flash and not Shockwave (and yes, there is a name-space conflict).

CAG7998 Oct 8, 2014 2:30 PM (in response to SeanWilson)Sean,
Thanks for your quick reply, and sorry to be so cranky above, but the user is "on fire" as they say. Unfortunately, there seems to be no consistent pattern to the errors as I'd hoped: the sites most frequently visited were blogs with some assorted links to video and audio content, all of which have mirrors on YouTube, where the errors ALSO appear. They've also made frequent guest appearances on Facebook and Juno email (which is one of the worst Ad-whores on the web, but not my choice). Firefox was the worst, showing up with almost every mouse click, hence the switch to ie, then to Chrome. To answer your question, the URL ? All of them.
p.s.- I'm on the same network, same work group, and am not affected (I'm clutching at straws).

SeanWilson Oct 8, 2014 5:28 PM (in response to CAG7998)OK, since you cite YouTube I'm picking your issue is with Flash, in which case you should direct your question to a forum for the Flash Player
