Choose Commands > Creative > Fade Image.

pinneke Jul 6, 2006 2:30 AM (in response to MichaelCo)I use a gradient from black to white as mask. In that way you don't change a thing on your sourceimage. You never know you need it again.

Doesn't what Linda R said, create the mask for you? I believe that it does and if you don't want the mask you can always delete just that and get your original image back. I prefer to do this how Linda R suggested...
