Hi,
I have placed a SVG from illustrator with an RGB breakdown of
R: 41
G: 171
B: 226
I also have text within Muse with the same colour value.
However once imported into Muse the SVG has a slightly different colour to it. Can anyone tell me why or how to fix it?

I tried to reproduce your problem using your color definition.
I think, the difference in colors only exists within Muse, because the pixel-representation and not vector data of your SVG is used.
When you preview the page in browser, vector data are applied and the difference is gone:
