    Can a cancelled CC sub interfere with a fresh new one?

      I cancelled a CC sub at the 11 month period to sign up for another year. Adobe said the old sub would cause no problems.

       

      But CC frequently reports a problem with my account. My apps work, but I don't think they will update. The Creative Cloud wants to update itself, but it fails when I try. Last time it said: "There seems to be a problem with the file download. For troubleshooting tips, please visit our customer support page.(Error code: 201)Contact Customer Support"

       

      I've made multiple tries through Customer Service without getting anywhere.
